Since october 2014

 

Since october 2014, the French Lecturer of the Transilvania University of Braşov is Adèle GOUSSET. She teaches various classes (classes dealing withFrench civilization, contemporary technical culture, 20th and 21st centurysciences and arts) and coordinates several cultural activities carried out at Transilvania University of Braşov, incollaboration with the French Embassy (especially the Cooperation Service) andwith the French Institute in Romania.

 

 

 

Activities



One of the most important events was the visit of Jérôme FERRARI, the winner of the Goncourt Prize for literature in 2012 who came to meet his readers on the 14th of January 2015, at the Faculty of Languages ans Literatures.

 

 

 

During the 2014 – 2015 academic year, the French Lecturer, Miss Adèle Gousset, organised the activity TOUR DE FRANCE EN 12 SEMAINES, presenting the French regions:

12th of January 2015: Poitou-Charentes și Limousin
19th of January 2015: Aquitaine
26th of January 2015: Midi-Pyrénées and Auvergne
2th of February 2015: Haute and Basse Normandie
23th of February 2015: Bretagne
2nd of March 2015: Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardie
9th of March 2015: Champagne – Ardennes and Franche Compté.





 

 

Nouvelle génération 


On the occasion of the French Speaking Countries Month, the, French lecturer of University Transilvania of Brașov, Adèle Gousset organised, from 22 to 23 March 2016, a meeting with the writer Carole Zalberg, author of numerous awarded novels. Students at the Faculty of Letters had the opportunity to make collages based on the volume of poetry Chants d'Apocalypse.




Rencontres professionnelles – Faux entretiens d’embauche

 

On the 14th of January 2016, the French lecturer of UniversityTransilvania of Brașov, together with the Academic Success Center organized ameeting between the final year students of the Faculty of Letters andrepresentatives of French and Francophone businesses in Brașov. This activitywas conducted in the form of mock job interviews and had many advantages forthose involved.

 


The French Lectorat library has many books from a variety of fields: linguistics, literature, history, civilization, dictionaries etc.
