Admission of Romanians from Everywhere starting with the academic year 2017-2018

Romanians from everywhere have the possibility to enroll for undergraduate, master, doctorate or residency studies as follows:

I. On study places without payment of tuition fees, but with scholarship, respectively, without payment of tuition fees, but without scholarship, according to the Methodology issued by the Ministry of National Education (MEN)

II. On study places with tuition fees in lei.

I. Admission to study places without payment of tuition fees, but with scholarship, respectively, without payment of tuition fees, but without scholarship

I.2. Admission to Undergraduate Programs

I.2.1. Enrollment period: 10 - 16 July 2017 according to the admission Calendar

I.2.2. Required documents - candidates from the Republic of Moldova

         Required documents

I.2.3. The study places allocated to Romanians from everywhere for Undergraduate programs

I.2.4. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of file contest, according to the criteria established by the University for Romanian citizens, excepting:

  • Faculty of Medicine - the admission criterion 100% average for the baccalaureate exam;
  • Faculty of Physical Education and Mountain Sports - the admission criterion 100% average for the baccalaureate exam and in addition, the candidates will perform practical tests

        Admission requirements

I.2.5. Registration options - the candidate may choose one of the following options:

I.2.5.1. Submits personally the file with original documents (see I.2.2.) at Rectorat builindg, room 102.

The candidate who enrolled and let the original documents at another university, will submit legalized copies of the documents and a certificate stating the first enrollment.

I.2.5.2. Transmits the file by e-mail to: admitere.rop@unitbv.ro

  • The candidate fills out the online application form HERE
  • After filling out the form, prints it, signs it and adds it to the enrollment documents;
  • All the registration documents are sent by e-mail scanned like pdf format, with a good visibility; illegible documents will not be considered for validation of Registration;
  • Validation of Registration: after checking the documents, the commission validates the submission by sending to the candidate two documents:
    • Fişa candidatului (Application Form) and
    • Contractul de înscriere (Registration Contract)

                   both signed by the commission;

  • The candidate will also sign Contractul de înscriere and will resend it to the address: admitere.rop@unitbv.ro;
  • The registration is considered completed when the candidate's file contains Fişa candidatului and Contractul de înscriere, signed by both parties;
  • The candidate will chase displaying the results of the admission contest to the University website http://admitere.unitbv.ro/, according to the admission Calendar;
  • The declared admitted candidate will confirm a single place of study, between 21 – 27 July 2017, by submitting at the University (Rectorat building, room 102) the file with original documents, 3 photos and the form Anexa 4

Those who will not submit original documents during the mentioned period will be eliminated from the list of admitted candidates.

I.3. Admission to Master Programs

I.3.1. Enrollment period: 19 - 21 July 2017 according to the admission Calendar

I.3.2. Required documents

I.3.3. The study places allocated to Romanians from everywhere for Master programs

I.3.4. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of contest, according to the criteria established by the University for Romanian citizens.
Examination will take place between between 22 – 24 July 2017, at the headquarters of the faculty to which he enrolled.

         Admission requirements

I.3.5. Registration options - the candidate may choose one of the following options:

I.3.5.1. Submits personally the file with original documents (see I.3.2.) at Rectorat builindg, room 102.
The candidate who enrolled and let the original documents at another university, will submit legalized copies of the documents and a certificate stating the first enrollment.

I.3.5.2. Transmits the file by e-mail to: admitere.rop@unitbv.ro

II. Admission to study places with the payment of tuition fee in lei

II.1. Admission to Undergraduate Programs

II.1.1. Enrollment period: 10 - 16 July 2017 according to the admission Calendar

II.1.2. Required documents - candidates from the Republic of Moldova

II.1.3. Candidates will be admitted to places with the payment of tuition fee in lei according to the criteria established by the University for Romanian citizens.

          Admission requirements

II.1.4. The candidate will submit personally the file with original documents (see II.1.2.) at Rectorat builindg, room 102.
The candidate who enrolled and let the original documents at another university, will submit legalized copies of the documents and a certificate stating the first enrollment.

II.1.5. The candidate will confirm the occupied place according to Registration Contract.

II.2. Admission to Master Programs

II.2.1. Enrollment period: 19 - 21 July 2017 according to the admission Calendar

II.2.2. Required documents

II.2.3. Candidates will be admitted on the basis of contest, according to the criteria established by the University for Romanian citizens, only on study places with tuition fees in lei.
Examination will take place between between 22 – 24 July 2017, at the headquarters of the faculty to which he enrolled.

         Admission requirements

II.2.4. The candidate will submit personally the file with original documents (see II.2.2.) at Rectorat builindg, room 102.
The candidate who enrolled and let the original documents at another university, will submit legalized copies of the documents and a certificate stating the first enrollment.

II.2.5. The candidate will confirm the occupied place according to Registration Contract.

III. Additional clarifications

III.1. Admission to all study programs taught in Romanian:

a). Romanians from everywhere who do not speak Romanian, who are admitted to undergraduate, master and doctoral studies, will attend the preparatory year of Romanian language, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

b). Romanians everywhere who have acquired Romanian language skills in non-formal or informal contexts can obtain certification of these skills through an assessment (minimum level B1). Assessment and certification are organized within the University, at the Center for Language Learning – CILM, 41 A Bd. Iuliu Maniu, 2nd floor, tel: 0730 273 889, as bellow:

   - for undergraduate programs – on 19th of July 2017, at 10 AM

   - for master programs – on 26 of July 2017, at 10 AM

c). They are exempt from the obligation to present the result of the assessment of Romanian competences, persons presenting Romanian documents related to Romanian language teaching programs (diplomas and certificates) or study papers, transcript of records certifying at least four years of consecutive studies in Romanian, into an educational institution in the national system in Romania or abroad, as well as certificates or attestations of linguistic competence B2 level, issued by the Institute of Romanian Language.

III.2. When admitting to all levels of university studies taught in a foreign language (English, French or German), Romanians everywhere will pass an eliminatory language proficiency test, marked with pass/fail.
The schedule of the test will be according to the admission calendar established for each study program

The test is not necessary in the following cases:

a) The candidate holds a certificate of linguistic competence with international recognition;

b) The candidate comes from a country whose official language is the language of the study program.

III.3. Enrollment of a candidate by another person is possible only if that person presents a power of attorney notarized, stating explicitly empower the person to sign the contract on behalf of the candidate.
