HRS4R - Human Resources Strategy for Researchers
In 2021, Transilvania University of Brașov endorsed the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and committed to implementing the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers – HRS4R, an approach based on the continuous assessment and improvement of how the principles of the Charter are embedded in institutional policies and practices.
In 2023, UNITBV received the HR Excellence in Research Award from the European Commission, recognizing the progress made in implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and reflecting the University's commitment to continuing and expanding its efforts to align with international standards and good practices in the recruitment, retention and career development of researchers.
In 2026, following the interim assessment, the European Commission experts validated the progress made in implementing UNITBV's Action Plan and confirmed the integration of the HRS4R principles into institutional policies and practices.
