Culture and Discourse in the Anglo-American World (part-time)

The part-time learning master’s degree programme Culture and Discourse in the Anglo-American World is conceived as an opportunity for graduate students to deepen their knowledge in the general field of the Humanities, being a master’s degree in Philology. It is particularly dedicated to graduates in the field, as it proposes an advanced professional training (120 ECTS credits) for future teachers of the English language and literature. Through its elective courses packages, this programme includes a strong interdisciplinary component which allows future graduates to consider prospective jobs on the labour market other than in the didactic field. Students have access to the university’s library and modern specialised laboratories (linguistic, multimedia).

Prospective career opportunities: high school teacher of English language and literature, translator, book editor, research assistant in linguistic, cultural studies or literary theory and history research institutes, media editor.
