Automotive Engineering (full-time / part-time studies)

This study programme falls within the specialization field Automotive Engineering. The duration of the studies is 4 years (240 ECTS credits).

The graduates of this programme acquire competences in CAD, CAM, CAE, virtual prototyping, software development for motor vehicles, design and testing of internal-combustion engines, automotive dynamics, fluid dynamics, automotive safety, automotive diagnosis, reconstruction of traffic accidents, road telematics, hybrid and electric vehicles. After the completion of the studies, the graduates will be able to work as engineers in various activity sectors in the field of motor vehicles, such as computer-assisted design; manufacturing and exploitation; maintenance and repairs; consultancy; damage assessment, insurance; expertise of traffic accidents; specialist within ISCTR/ARR/RAR/Road police etc.

Traffic and Transport Engineering

The study programme integrates in the faculty’s Department of Automotive and Transport Engineering and belongs to the field of Transport Engineering. The disciplines of the study programme are structured in a logical sequence, starting with those of general technical culture and continuing with those specific to the field of transport engineering, comprising both general and specialized skills. These disciplines create the necessary basis for continuing and deepening studies through master's degree and doctoral studies.

Mechanical Engineering (full-time studies / part-time studies)

The BSc. field which this study programme falls within is Mechanical Engineering. The duration of the studies is 4 years (240 ECTS credits). The students acquire specific competences related to the cutting-edge procedures and means of computer-assisted design, based on the latest theories and methods pertaining to the modelling and behaviour of mechanical materials and structures deformable at static and dynamic stresses, structures made of metallic, non-metallic, wood, composite materials and so forth. The study programme has a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary formative basis.

Aerospace Engineering

The field of study of this programme is aerospace engineering. The length of the studies is 4 years (240 ECTS credits). The students acquire abilities in using software applications in order to fulfil tasks specific to aerospace engineering, in shape design and evaluation of performance, stability and manoeuvrability of the aircrafts, in designing and testing of primary and metal composite structural elements, in technological design, manufacturing, planning and operation of manufacturing systems, providing airport operations in accordance with international aviation regulations and quality manuals. The main objective of the study programme is training the engineer, with a BA in aerospace engineering, being able to quickly integrate into the field of economics in our country or abroad.
