Social Work

The field of study for this Bachelor’s Degree programme is Social Work. The duration of the programme is 3 years (180 ECTS credit points)

Upon graduating from this programme, students will gain knowledge regarding specific actions that need to be taken in order to minimize individual, familial, group, community or societal risks. They will also be trained to draw up, implement and evaluate social work projects, programmes and policies for different vulnerable categories. They will learn about counselling and other specific methods applied in both the domestic and institutional environment. After graduation they could take jobs as social workers in institutions for various categories of people such as: children, families, ethnic minorities, seniors, drug addicts as well as disabled and homeless people.
