Special Psychopedagogy

The study programme is in the field of Educational Sciences. The duration of the studies is 3 years (180 ECTS credits). Through the diversity of the disciplines available to the student, the programme aims at forming and developing the specialist’s basic competences in Special Psychopedagogy in compliance with contemporary society’s expectances. More specific, the graduate will have the competence of psycho-pedagogical evaluation of children, young people and adults with special needs, to achieve specific psycho-pedagogical intervention (compensation – recovery – therapy) for people with special needs, to design tailored educational programmes for different levels and target groups, to advise, guide and assist psychopedagogically various categories of persons/educational groups (children/students, families, teachers, employees, etc.), the competence for self-assessment and continuous improvement of professional practices and career progression, and to facilitate the school, professional and social inclusion of people with special needs.
