Forest Ecosystem Management

The master’s domain within which this particular study programme falls into is Engineering Studies, a 2nd year course (120 ECTS credits). Students acquire competencies in management and entrepreneurship in forestry, forest protection, GIS, evaluation and conservation of wild fauna, conservation and use of genetic forest resources, etc. The completion of this study programme enables graduates to apply advanced forest management methods.  

 

Future career prospects: Graduates can work in production, education and research, forestry administrations, landscape companies dedicated to forests and wood exploitation, hunting and fishing organisations, in the administration of protected areas, forestry guards and environmental protection agencies, etc.
