Processing Systems and Quality Control of Agri-Food Products

The master’s degree domain of this study program is Food Engineering. The duration of the studies is 2 years (120 ECTS credits). Students acquire skills in the design, research and development of technologies and equipment for the processing and control of food products; students acquire skills in the domain of food control and expertise as well as in the domain of consumer protection; skills in designing, implementing and monitoring systems of food quality and safety management. The completion of this study program allows graduates to access several professions in the domains of engineering and food safety. 

 

Subjects: Modern technologies of processing and preservation of agricultural and food products; The production and advanced processing of animal products; Modern control techniques in food industry; Food safety and security; The auditing of risk analysis systems in food industry.

 

Perspectives upon completion of studies: specialists in small and medium-sized plants for the processing of agricultural and food products; specialists in the design and production of technical equipment and of bio-food within large agri-food companies (holdings); food control and expertise units (DSVA, OPC, etc.); consultancy and technical assessment; audit and certification unit for food industry engineering and management; institutions operating in agriculture, food industry, environmental protection and tourism (agriculture departments, consultancy offices).
