Electronic and Communication Integrated Systems

The master’s degree field of study including this programme is Electronical Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies. The study period is 2 years. (120 ECTS credits). Students acquire competencies professional/research for a career within the interaction area of scientific and engineering branches of electronics, digital communications and computer engineering. We also aim at developing management capabilities for the conversion of the academic or professional contexts to new unpredictable requirements that imply innovative strategic approaches to the dynamics of technology in programmed electronics extending also to digital communications. Completing this programme enables graduates to approach numerous professions in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.

 

Study Disciplines: The first semester includes disciplines common to the two directions of the Master’s programme, such as Software technologies for system testing, Package switches, and is continued with specific disciplines, namely Neural networks, Mobile communications, Network modelling, Modern processor and controller architectures. The research component is represented by disciplines such as Research practice or Creativity and Inventics.

 

Prospects after graduation: electrical design engineer, communications design engineer, communications or electronics research engineer, expert in the field of computer assisted design, project manager, computer network manager, software system engineer, operator for landline and mobile telecommunications services and networks, ICT services integrator, telecommunications equipment producer, System integrator, Integrated SW solutions  developer.
