Educational Psychology, School and Vocational Counseling

The master’s study programme is in the field of Psychology. The study period is 2 years (120 credits). Students develop competencies in analysing critical situations in the educational field, psychological evaluation, counselling for pupils, families, teachers, school managers and community members. Graduates of Bachelor’s programmes in the fields of Psychology, Specialised Psycho-pedagogy, Social Assistance, Sociology and any other fields are accepted.

 

Study Disciplines: Psychological evaluation, Counselling for children and teenagers, Family counselling, School counselling, Vocational counselling and career management, Adult education, Socio-psychological intervention in crisis situations in educational environments, etc.

 

Prospects after graduation: school counsellor, school psychologist, youth counsellor, educator, counsellor for employees and for unemployed, psychologist in the field of specialised psycho-pedagogy etc.

 

COPSI certification: The master’s programme has been certified by the Psychologists College in Romania (Appendix no. 6/31.10.2016 to the professional certification no. RF-I-BV-22/22.11.2011).
