Early Education and Primary School Psychopedagogy

The study programme is in the field of Education Sciences. The study period is of 2 years (120 ECTS credits). Graduates of bachelor’s programmes such as Psycho-Pedagogy, Eraly Education and Primary school, Social assistance, etc. are accepted. The programme develop profesional competences for designing, managing, coordinating and evaluating the educational interventions of the system and services for children and pre-schoolchildren to respond meaningfully and effectively to the new needs of children, families and society of the 21st century.

Study Disciplines: Advanced study of Education in the Community; Didactics of Early Childhood and Primary School Education; Design and Management of Educational ProgramsAdvanced Theories of Developmental Psychology; Designing Educational Activities in Early Education, Preschool and Elementary School; Experiential Internship - Psycho- pedagogical Action Plan in the Group of Children or School Classroom;Ethics and Academic Integrity; Parental Education – Current Trends in Childcare and Education; Qualitative Research Methods; Management of Psychological Processes of Learning in Childhood; Individualized Curriculum Management   toward a Personalized Curriculum; Experiential Internship - Observation, Action,  Evaluation in the Experiential Field;   Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Education and Training (optional subject);Entrepreneurship in Education (optional subject); Methodology of Pedagogical Intervention and  for Special Education;  Docimology - Comparative Perspectives; Pedagogical Models of Communication; Sociology of School Organizations. School Networks; Experiential Internship - Action Plan in the Group of Children or School Classroom; Management of Specific  Intervention  Strategies for Children with Special Needs; Methods of Complex Evaluation of the Child and Group / Class; Management of Interpersonal Relationships in Childhood; Quality Management at the Educational Institutions; Applied Research in Experiential Field-Dissertation;Mentoring in Education (optional subject); Folklore and folk Traditions in Early Education and School Age (optional subject); Management of Didactical Career for Early Childhood and School Age Education (optional subject); Formative and Educational Facets of Children's Literature (optional subject).

Prospects after graduation: graduates will be able to work in early education field. Occupations that can be practiced on the labor market, according to the Code COR/ISCO-08 are the following:   School counsellor (Cod COR/ESCO: 235903), School inspector for lifelong education (Cod COR/ESCO: 235916), Director of the County Centre for Educational Resources and (Cod COR/ESCO: 235919)
