Simulation and Testing in Mechanical Engineering
The master’s degree domain this study programme belongs to is Automotive Engineering. The duration of the studies is 2 years (120 ECTS credits). The students acquire advanced engineering skills (simulation - calculation, design, testing - correlation).
Studied disciplines: Advanced design elements - CAD, Lifelong design, C ++ Programming for engineering applications, Multibody systems, Computational mechanics, Hybrid engineering, Experimental mechanics, Light structures / Mechanical energy conversion systems, Mechanical structure analysis, Structural optimization, Modal analysis, Modeling and simulation of transfer processes, Non-linear analysis of deformable solids.
The part-time studies entail activities devoted mostly to synthesis courses and practical training, programmed in a compact and periodical manner, which presupposes the direct meeting in the university space of the students with the teaching staff, supplemented by other specific training means for distance learning.
The advantages of part-time studies: the diplomas are recognized by the Ministry of National Education; the reduced frequency learning is a flexible method which permits observing the personal pace of learning; thus, students have the opportunity to work and learn at the same time, eliminating the necessary meal and accommodation costs; interactive teaching methods - learning - evaluation; continuous pedagogical support provided by university professors.
