The International Conference THE SCIENCE OF MUSIC – EXCELLENCE IN PERFORMANCE is one of the most important events of the Faculty of Music within the Transilvania University of Brașov, enjoying constantly growing international visibility.
The aim of the Conference is to reunite scholars from all over the world, who conduct musical research, in order to present the results of their investigations. At the same time, the event offers the participants the possibility to exchange precious ideas and research expertise, to establish cooperative relationships between institutions, as well as future partnerships or interdisciplinary collaborations.
This year's edition brings together professionals from all over the world (United States of America, Serbia, Hungary, Portugal, Islamic Republic of Iran, Romania, Republic of Moldova, England), personalities who will present their research results, hold masterclasses and workshops, and will be launching books. This year's conference also proposes a unique concert in which the works of Brasov composers will be heard for the first time, performed by professors and students of our faculty.
