Prize of the Year – 2024-2025 ERASMUS+ Mobility
The file submission is scheduled between 1 October and 4 November 2025
The students of Transilvania University of Brașov who benefited from a long-term Erasmus+ mobility during the 2024-2025 academic year are invited to participate in the PRIZE OF THE YEAR. ERASMUS+ MOBILITY (PA-MERAS) programme, which rewards the best-performing Erasmus+ study or traineeship mobility.
A. Goals of the PA-MERAS programme:
- to promote and support the Erasmus+ mobility programme among the students of Transilvania University of Braşov;
- to raise the quality of the students’ professional results during study/ traineeship mobilities;
- to establish an Erasmus+ student group contributing to an ever-higher quality of education within the university.
B. Eligibility conditions. The candidates must cumulatively meet the following requirements:
- to have successfully completed an Erasmus+ study/ traineeship mobility during the 2024-2025 academic year (full mobility file);
- to have fulfilled their contractual mobility obligations;
- to have submitted the application file until the time limit set in the calendar of the PA-MERAS programme.
C. Content of the application file:
- the mobility essay (maximum two pages), with an emphasis on the special achievements obtained during the mobility;
- letter of recommendation from a representative of the host university/ institution (scanned copies are accepted);
- the letter of recommendation from the Erasmus+ coordinator at faculty/ department/ SDI level (scanned copies are accepted);
- at least one representative photograph taken during the mobility.
The application file will be lodged with/ sent by traditional mail to the University’s Registry Office, in a closed envelope, with the mention of the candidate’s name and of the faculty which s/he is enrolled at. The selection criterion is the quality of the documents in the application file.
D. Calendar of the PA-MERAS programme
- 01.10-04.11.2025 the candidates’ registration for the competition, by their lodging the application files with the University’s Registry Office, or sending them by traditional mail thereto;
- 05.11-14.11.2025 analysis of the application files;
- 17.11.2025 announcement of the selection results on the university’s website;
- 18.11.2025 filing of the appeals, which can only refer to procedural defects;
- 19.11.2025 announcement of the final results, following the appeals, on the university’s website.
The award ceremony will be held on a date to be announced later.
Ineligible candidates/ application files that are either incomplete or submitted after the time-limit for registration will not be considered for the competition.
