Announcement on the payment of scholarships

Starting in January 2026, the scholarships for the student grantees in the bachelor’s and master’s programmes will be paid retroactively, just like the employees’ wages and doctoral candidates’ scholarships.
This administrative change was made by the Ministry of Education and Research, and is correlated with the scholarship-related legislative amendments, respectively their granting proportionally to the periods of didactic activities, and the interconnection of scholarships and completed/conducted periods of activity.
Under these circumstances, for the month of January 2026, the scholarships will be paid in mid-February. This delay (in relation to the previous payment term) will only apply in the first month, and subsequently the payment interval will settle at one month.
