Ø  University campus accommodation

Accommodation arrangements should be made in advance by filling in the Student Accommodation Request Form and sending it to the Erasmus Office (incoming@unitbv.ro).

University campuses residences:

• Memorandului Student Residence (Memo): ≈ 120 euro/person/month
• Colina Student Residence: ≈ 120 euro/person/month

Student residences have rooms, equipped with: furniture, sink, shared bathroom, free Internet access. No kitchens are available.

Ø  Renting an apartment

If you choose to rent an apartment or a house in Brașov, we strongly advise you to contact a real-estate agency (agenție imobiliară). They can provide you with information about the most interesting offers on the market.

The cost of accommodation varies with the type, location, size and facilities, approximately 150-300 euro/month/apartment. Usually, you have to pay extra for all utilities: water, electricity, gas, telephone etc., about 100 euro/month.

A deposit representing the rent for the first three months is usually required. It will be refunded at the end of your stay, provided that you leave the apartment in good condition.

REMEMBER!! If you decide to rent an apartment, a signed lease contract is needed, used also for temporary residence permit application.
