Violin and Piano Recital: Mihaela Oprea and Cristina Mingarelli

The Multicultural Centre within Transilvania University of Brașov invites you to a new concert performed by exceptional musicians of the national and international stage.
Originally from Brașov, Mihaela Oprea began studying the violin at the age of six. At eleven years old, she made her debut with the Brașov Philharmonic Orchestra. She completed her secondary education in Cluj, and then attended the National University of Music in Bucharest. Since 1998, she has been playing with Sønderjylland’s Symphony Orchestra.
Cristina Mingarelli started playing in her early school years, graduating from the piano sections of two universities, namely Mozarteum IGP of Salzburg and VLK of Feldkirch. She currently teaches at Rheintalische Musikschule Lustenau (Austria).
The music programme offers for audition pieces composed by G. Enescu, G. Dinicu, J. Gade, G. Tartini, I. Albeniz, Niels W. Gade, S. Garay, F. Chopin, Z. Fibich, R. Langgaard, and more.
We will be therefore waiting for you on Friday, 11 July 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Multicultural Centre of Transilvania University (ground floor of the Rectorate building, 29 Eroilor Blvd). The entrance is free, within the limits of available seats.
