Day of Transylvania University of Brașov
24 February - 4 March 2023
On the occasion of the 1st of March, declared “Day of the University”, numerous activities, workshops, contests and debates will take place between 24.02.2023 and 04.03.2023.
The residents of Brașov who want to get in touch with student life or to take part in the cultural events organized on this occasion are invited to attend these activities, along with the members of our University’s academic community.
The activities will start as early as Friday, 24 February, and will continue on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Most of the events will take place on 1 March, both at the level of each of the 18 faculties, and at the university level.
Painting and photography exhibitions, 3D printing demonstrations, robotics workshops, a virtual design competition, a treasure hunt, fretwork workshops, as well as debates on various topics are just a few of the activities that will be organized within the faculties.
The festive day of the 1st of March will end with the traditional University’s Day Concert, given by the pianist Mihai Teacă and the Chamber Orchestra of Transilvania University of Brașov. The concert will take place at “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” International Conference Centre, starting at 6 p.m. The entrance is free, within the limit of available places.
The events dedicated to the Day of the University will continue until 4 March, with debates, exhibitions, workshops and sports competitions.
