Exhibition of Visual Sociology
2 - 22 October 2023, “Nicolae Titulescu” Park
The students at the Faculty of Sociology and Communication within Transilvania University of Brașov will start the academic year in their own, particular way, with the opening of the visual sociology exhibition “Beyond the Fence“ (project of the Social Work specialization) and “Man and His City” (project of the Communication and Public Relations specialization). Now in its 6th edition, the exhibition has been organized with the support of Brașov City Hall and of the Multicultural Centre within Transilvania University of Brașov. Starting from student projects, the makers and curators of the event, the academics Cristian Bălăcescu and Ștefan Ungurean, propose the people of Brașov a meditation exercise about “the twilight of civilization” and about “how to be”, extending the social reflection of both students and their professors over the city's public space.
The exhibition will be opened on the pedestrian area of “Nicolae Titulescu” Park - in front of T building of the University, on Monday, 2 October 2023, at 2:30 p.m., and it will be available to view until 22 October.
