The Student Entrepreneurial Society of Transilvania University of Brașov in collaboration with Activize Health and Transilvania Star Group organizes the Green Tech Hackathon, a competition addressed to the creative students willing to develop themselves and to build innovative projects in fields such as: energy, smart edu, smart retail, blockchain, climate change, cybersecurity and circular economy. The competition is dedicated to the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students at Transilvania University of Brașov, and it will take place in “Sergiu Chiriacescu” Conference Centre (UI6 and Aula Magna) over three days, between 13 and 15 November.

The course “Innovation: Validation and Implementation”

On Monday, 13 November, from 5:00 p.m., we will be meeting for the course on Innovation: Validation and Implementation, which will be held by dr. Ion Gheorghe PETROVAI - Director of Innovation and Co-Founder - FreshBlood HealthTech - EITHealth RIS Hub for Romania, Associated Professor and Ecosystem Director - HIVE - Centre for Health Innovation of UBB Cluj-Napoca. Ion is a doctor, marketer, trainer and mentor, with a focus on the development of innovative health projects to reach the potential through people, projects and partnerships. Since 2017, he has been a Starship Biodesign Innovation Fellow at EITHealth Innostars; and in 2020 he was honoured with “EITHealth Innovation Community Leadership Award”. Since 2020, he has been a member of the EITHealth Mentors and Coaching network, focusing on validation and market approach strategy.
