The Music Centre of Transilvania University of Brașov is delighted to invite the academic community to the piano recital performed by Királyhalmi Gusztáv, on this new anniversary occasion for Transilvania University of Brașov, Sunday, 1 March 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre.

This event comes under the tradition of anniversary recitals which, over the years, have become a constant milestone of the Concert Season, marking the Day of Transilvania University through high-class artistic performances. 

The programme features representative music pieces of the Romantic and post-Romantic piano repertoire: the four Impromptus op. 142 by Franz Schubert, a Bach–Rachmaninoff transcription of Partita no. 3 for solo violin, as well as two far-reaching creations by Frédéric Chopin, namely Polonaise-Fantaisie op. 61 and Polonaise op. 44.

The recital offers a profound and cohesive stylistic journey, highlighting both the expressive dimension of the piano, and the dialogue between tradition and modern reinterpretation.
