UNITBV, award-winner at Mechatronics Education Days

The team of Transilvania University of Brașov returned with silver and bronze medals from the National Mechatronics Olympiad which took place in the city of Timișoara. The UNITBV students in Mechatronics competed, alongside their best colleagues in the study programmes of eleven other universities, in all six sections of the competition: Mechatronic Systems, Mobile Robots - line-follower, Mobile Robots - mini-sumo, Drones, Achievements in the field of Mechatronics, Achievements in the field of Mechatronics - Matlab. All competitive events had a high level of complexity, harmoniously combining the fields of mechanics, electronics and computer science.

The awards obtained by the UNITBV students:

  • Mechatronic systems – second prize
  • Mobile Robots - line-follower – third prize
  • Achievements in the field of Mechatronics – third prize 
  • Achievements in the field of Mechatronics - Matlab – mention 
  • Special award - Prof. Eng. Vistrian Mătieș, PhD
