Transilvania University of Brașov launches the invitation to the final conference of the European project INThrace: Civil engagement, integration and better management of the national intangible heritage to raise awareness of European common values – EU context, perspectives and active citizenship, aimed at fostering the interdisciplinary dialogue on the protection and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage.

Under the title “Current Challenges in Safeguarding and Promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage”, the event will bring together experts, researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and representatives of the local communities, in order to analyse current challenges and innovative solutions as regards the preservation of the cultural traditions, practices and other related expressions transmitted from generation to generation.

The conference will include plenary sessions, interactive discussions and networking opportunities, thus providing the participants with a framework for the exchange of ideas and good practices in the field of intangible cultural heritage. The debates will highlight the role of the collaboration between the academic environment, cultural institutions and communities in promoting European values, cultural diversity and the citizens’ active participation in community life.
