Delegation from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, on a visit to Transilvania University of Brașov

Between 24 and 27 May 2026, Transilvania University of Brașov (UNITBV) received a delegation from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), coordinated by Prof. Liu Cunzhi, PhD, Vice-President of BUCM, and consisting of Prof. Wang Yong, Prof. Sun Luying (directors of the hospitals affiliated with BUCM) and Mrs. Jiang Li (Department for International Cooperation within BUCM).
The delegation met with Prof. Eng. Ioan Vasile Abrudan, PhD, Rector of Transilvania University of Brașov, as well as with representatives of our university’s Faculty of Medicine and other departments.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the master’s study programme of Traditional Chinese Medicine (taught in English) within the Faculty of Medicine under UNITBV, implemented in partnership with Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China’s most prestigious university of traditional medicine – history and future development paths alike – amid the potential candidates’ ever-growing interest.
It is worth mentioning that all the academic disciplines of the master’s study programme of Traditional Chinese Medicine (taught in English) within the Faculty of Medicine under Transilvania University of Brașov are exclusively tenured by professors from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
