Mobile Minds in Motion Learning Hub – Student Platform Launch

3 June 2026

Getting ready for an external mobility is readiness for wellbeing, too. The new platform Mobile Minds in Motion Learning Hub has been launched to support both the students in international mobilities and the academic teaching personnel, by means of practical tools, resources and counselling, with a view to helping them successfully cope with the emotional and mental health challenges that may arise before, during and after their studies abroad. The students who learn abroad might experience distress, loneliness, culture shock, uncertainty and emotional pressure. Therefore, early support is always welcome.

The Learning Hub platform was created by the experts of Transilvania University of Brașov, in collaboration with other European universities and organizations: University of Porto, Universidad de Alcala, Selçuk University, Vytautas Magnus University, European Student Network and European University Foundation.

What is the usefulness of this platform?

  • Learning Hub provides easily accessible and student-friendly resources, designed specifically for the realities of the international mobilities.
  • The platform combines research insights, student experiences and expert-backed content, turning them into practical, easy-to-use materials.
  • The students can capitalise on various self-assessment tools, videos, podcasts and scientific articles to better understand and monitor their wellbeing.
  • The initiative promotes higher awareness, enhanced resilience, mutual support among the students and a proactive approach to mental health.

Students and academic personal alike can freely access the platform: https://international.up.pt/mobilemindsinmotion/learning-hub/

The project Mobile Minds in Motion has been financed through Erasmus+ 2024-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000256449.
