On the occasion of the 36^th National Conference of the Romanian Librarian Association, co-organised by Transilvania University Library, we are delighted to invite you to the extraordinary concert “Memories – Péter Venczel & Friends”, which will be offered by the artists performing under the Hungarian Opera of Cluj-Napoca. 

The concert will take place on the stage of Aula Magna, in “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre of Transilvania University of Brașov, on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The performance programme, dedicated to movie, music theatre and ballet tunes, features beloved creations by Péter Venczel, the prestigious contemporary Romanian-Hungarian composer: Mathias Rex Suite – Piano Concerto, first part, Overture to Casanova – music theatrical production, Chanson d’automne, on Paul Verlaine’s lyrics, carnival solo excerpted from Transylvan Rendez-Vous, directed by Gelu Badea, Yalla Yalla, the main theme of Csibi László’s movie, The Thief’s Mountain and The Thief’s Song, excepted from “Memories” ballet and  “Ali Baba” comedic musical.

The entrance is free, within the limit of available seats.
