Exhibitions of Visual Sociology - Opening
1 October 2026, at 1:00 p.m., esplanade of “Nicolae Titulescu” Park
The Faculty of Sociology and Communication launches here the invitation to the open-air exhibitions “Beyond the Fence” and “Man and His/Her City”, which will take place on Thursday, 1 October 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. The event will occur on the esplanade of Nicolae Titulescu” Park, in Brașov, and the exhibitions will be available to view between 1 and 15 October 2026.
Now in its 9th edition, the visual sociology project of the aforementioned faculty brings to the public space the outcomes of the documentation, social observation and research activities conducted by its students. Through images, the exhibitions offer their viewers perspectives on people, communities and social spaces, and thereby create a framework of encounter between sociological research and the general public.
The project came to fruition with the support of Brașov City Hall and of the Multicultural Centre within Transilvania University of Brașov.
We look forward to welcoming you at the opening, with a view to discovering the two exhibitions.
