17 November 2026, at 6:00 p.m., “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Conference Centre, Transilvania University of Brașov

The Music Centre within Transilvania University of Brașov launches here the invitation to the piano recital offered by Dorel Golan (Israel), within the 2026 - 2027 Concert Season of our university.

The evening’s programme proposes a musical reunion with three inseparable luminaries in the history of Romanticism, namely Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms. They are tightly interconnected not only by shared aesthetic values, but also by a uniquely intense human and artistic relationship.

The recital delves into their common universe by means of music pieces that reveal three voices which, although distinct, are in a deep dialogue. Thus, the programme includes Faschingsschwank aus Wien de Robert Schumann, Six Pieces for Piano, Op. 118 by Johannes Brahms, and Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 7 by Clara Schumann, arranged for solo piano by Dorel Golan herself. The pairing of these music pieces offers the opportunity to explore various sound worlds, from the Schumannesque exuberance and fantasy, to Brahms’ late introspection and Clara Schumann’s romantic fervour.

The entrance is free, within the limit of available seats.

We look forward to welcoming you and setting together the tone of Brașov’s academic and cultural life.
