Between 25 and 27 November 2021, Transilvania University of Brașov and “Traian Lalescu” Foundation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, organize the following events:
“Traian Lalescu” National Student Mathematics Competition and the National Scientific Session of Mathematics and Computer Science.

The sections of “Traian Lalescu” competition are as follows:
Section A – faculties of mathematics and computer science (1^st – 2^nd – 3^rd academic years)
Sections B and C:
B1 – technical faculties - electrical specialization: faculties of automation, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, etc.(1^st year)
C1 – technical faculties - non-electrical specialization: faculties of mechanics, civil engineering, hydro-technics, energetics, etc. (1^st year)
B2 – technical faculties - electrical specialization: faculties of automation, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, etc.(2^nd year)
C2 – technical faculties - non-electrical specialization: faculties of mechanics, civil engineering, hydro-technics, energetics, etc.(2^nd year)
Section D – SPECIAL MATHEMATICS - technical faculties (2^nd and 3^rd academic years).

The sections of the Scientific Session are as follows:
Mathematics (Bachelor’s / Master’s degrees)
Computer Science (Bachelor’s / Master’s degrees)
The National Scientific Session of Mathematics and Computer Science will be held in collaboration with “Traian Lalescu” Centre for Research and Training in Innovative Techniques of Applied Mathematics in Engineering

The events will take place in compliance with the applicable regulations on COVID, between 25 and 27 November 2021.

Considering the epidemiological restrictions at national level, hotel accommodation can only be provided if the participants in “Traian Lalescu” National Student Mathematics Competition and the National Scientific Session of Mathematics and Computer Science have the Green Certificate (EU COVID Certificate) or a negative PCR test done up to 48 hours in advance.
