Discover an exciting opportunity to actively engage in a European project! Join us for the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme organized by Transilvania University of Brașov (UNITBV).

Transilvania Creative Camp (TCC 2023), taking place from September 1st to September 7th, is an immersive summer school focused on the theme "Creative Destinations and Heritage Interpretation." Organized as a project-based learning project with intensive workshops and fieldwork, facilitated by national and international experts, the programme aims to equip participants with marketing communication skills exercising on promotion of the heritage of Lăpuș Land in Northern Transylvania, Romania. Started as a cooperation with Meisei University Tokyo and other European universities, TCC 2023 is a continuation of the series of summer schools on marketing communication and heritage interpretation. More about the activities and objectives of TCC project can be found in the book about TCC 2016.

This blended programme combines in-person sessions from September 1st to 7th in Târgu Lăpuș and surrounding villages with online work on August 19th, August 26th (3 hours each), and September 16th (3 hours). The language of instruction is English (minimum B1 level).

We invite students (bachelor, master, PhD) passionate about communication, cultural heritage, and destination marketing to apply. Secure your spot by sending an email to florin.nechita@unitbv.ro before August 10th, 2023.

Benefits include high school campus accommodation with daily meals, transportation from Brașov to Târgu Lăpuș and back, cultural visits in the Lăpuș Land area, and a certificate of attendance (3 ECTS).

Please note that the trip to Romania is not covered. Travel expenses may be covered through Erasmus funds. Please contact your Erasmus office at your university.
