Two projects of Transilvania University of Brașov were awarded by the General Association of Engineers in Romania. Under the section Special Engineering Achievements Put into Practice, the AGIR trophy was given to Transilvania University of Brașov for “Artificial Intelligence-Based Software Application for Predicting the Coronary Fractional Flow Reserve in the Optical Coherence Tomography” - authors: Lucian Mihai Itu, Cosmin-Andrei Hatfaludi, Irina-Andra Tache, Costin Florian Ciușdel, Andrei Puiu, Diana Stoian.
Under the section Editorial Releases of 2022, the AGIR diploma was given to the scientific literary work “Dynamics of the Violin”, edited by the Publishing House of Transilvania University of Brașov - authors: Mariana Domnica STANCIU (coord.), Mircea MIHĂLCICĂ (coord.), Mihaela CÂMPEAN, Camelia CERBU, Nicolae Constantin CREȚU, Florin DINULICA, Vasile Ghiorghe GLIGA, Alina Maria NAUNCEF, Silviu Marian NĂSTAC, Ioan Călin ROȘCA, Adriana SAVIN.

The AGIR Award, which is given by the the General Association of Engineers in Romania, honours outstanding works, projects, achievements, or high-level technical-scientific treatises, on a yearly basis.
