The free tutoring courses for the Baccalaureate begin again

Starting on 4 March 2024

The academic teaching personnel within Transilvania University of Brașov will offer, this year as well, free preparatory classes for the baccalaureate exam, specifically for the tests of Romanian language and literature, mathematics and computer science, and for the first time German language and literature.

Starting on Monday, 4 March, the high school pupils may attend the preparatory classes offered by the teaching personnel at the Faculty of Letters and at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science within our university.

As regards the Romanian language and literature, the literary works included in the baccalaureate curriculum will be addressed. The courses aim to teach the pupils how to stylistically analyse literary and non-literary texts and how to correctly and appropriately use the Romanian language in different communication situations. As regards the German language and literature, the courses focus on how to construe a lyrical text.

As to mathematics, during the preparatory classes, the teaching personnel will address notions of algebra, mathematical analysis, trigonometry and geometry; while, in computer science, notions of algorithms, graphs, vectors and matrices, as well as problem variants will be studied.

The classes are scheduled in the afternoon, so that all interested high school pupils can attend them.

For the Romanian language and literature, the classes will be held starting on Friday, 15 March, in the T building, the N T Auditorium (25 Eroilor Avenue).

The preparatory classes for the German language and literature will also take place in the T Building, but in the T P 11 room.

For mathematics, the preparatory classes will be held online, starting from 4 March to 27 May 2024; and those in computer science will start on 14 March.

The full schedule of the preparatory courses, as well as the login links to the online teaching platform are available at: https://admitere.unitbv.ro/pregatire-bacalaureat.html
