Chamber Jazz@Transilvania University: Răzvan Filip Cipcă Trio

14 March 2025, at 7:00 p.m., Multicultural Centre, Transilvania University of Brașov

Chamber Jazz @ Transilvania University has as guests for the next concert three of the most interesting young Romanian jazz musicians, who will engage the audience with an original repertoire based on Răzvan Filip Cipcă’s compositions, and bring together various music genres – jazz, art rock, experimental and cinematic music. The trio performed concerts at the Jazz Festival of Gărâna (2023), Jazz in the Park (2022), Tam-Tam Festival of Brașov (2022). Moreover, in 2023, they were selected out of 200 international bands to participate in the International Jazz in The Park Competition.

Răzvan Filip Cipcă (born in 1996) attended the courses of the National University of Music in Bucharest, majoring in jazz composition. His music is influenced by blues, rock, film scores, American folk, experimental music, and more.

Cristian Galițî (born in 1995) has studied the guitar since the age of 12, attended the courses of the High School of Arts in Galați, respectively the University of Music in Bucharest, majoring in jazz-bass.

Bogdan Tabarca (born in 2000) studied at the National University of Music in Bucharest, and he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in jazz and pop music cultures at the same university. He also collaborated with the pianist Ștefan Stoianovici, the double bassist Vlady Săteanu, and is the drummer of Pyroblast emo-punk band.

We will be waiting for you on Friday, 14 March 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Multicultural Centre of Transilvania University (ground floor of the Rectorate building, 29 Eroilor Blvd.).

The entrance is free within the limit of available seats.
