BlueStreamline, the student car-racing team of Transilvania University of Brașov, achieved another outstanding success at the 15^th edition of Formula Student Spain, one of the most prestigious international competitions for young engineers. The BS25 single seat race car has just been declared winner in the combustion class. The victory is extraordinary, as it is the 3^rd in a row within FSS. No other team worldwide has won the Triple Crown in three consecutive years so far; therefore, the BlueStreamline team members become the absolute champions of Formula Student Spain!

All through the academic year, these young students of Transilvania University of Brașov, based on their technical expertise, fondness of engineering, and commitment to a project of such magnitude, succeeded in developing a high-performance vehicle, entirely built from scratch. The result of their efforts was up to the expectations, as the team of Transilvania University of Brașov climbed again onto the podium, still in the 1^st place. 

This year, the students of Transilvania University of Brașov outperformed their competitors in the endurance test. The BlueStreamline student team is known for the perseverance shown in this competition, being the only one all over Europe to have participated in all Formula Student Spain editions.

The single-seater which its members competed with in this edition, BS25, is the 16^th one with a thermal propulsion engine developed by the BlueStreamline team of Transilvania University of Brașov. 

This summer, the team will participate in three other international competitions after this one in Spain, on Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Next up are the relevant circuits in Croatia, Romania and Italy.

Formula Student competitions are academic sports events that challenge teams of students to conceive, design, manufacture, develop and compete with small racing cars on Formula 1 circuits.

Established in 2008 by the students of Transilvania University of Brașov, BlueStreamline has specialised in building single-seaters for the Formula Student competitions, achieving victories in Portugal, Spain and Romania. 

BlueStreamline, the only European team that has attended all editions of Formula Student Spain, conducts its activity with the support of our University and of several private companies of Brașov which help turn the students’ innovative ideas into reality.
