THAT MUCH COULD BE DONE: A Collective Exhibition on Mistake

3 - 30 November 2025, Multicultural Centre, Transilvania University of Brașov

The Multicultural Centre of Transilvania University of Brașov invites you on Monday, 3 November 2025, at 6:00 p.m., to the opening of the collective contemporary art exhibition, entitled That Much Could Be Done, and implicitly to a project on the cultural construction of a living network for dialogue and reflection.

The thematic concept of the exhibition, as well as of the series of related events, namely mistake and its reverberations in time and space, but also on the dimensions of the self, especially the artistic one, is approached from a restorative and constructive perspective. A diachronic vision of contemporaneity, the exhibition, through its frames, captures a generation’s evolution and opens up new perspectives for them. The foray through the exterior settings enhanced by audio installations awakens deep inner echoes with an effect of awareness, acceptance and healing.

The exhibition, curated by Ioana Pelehatăi, Ioana Cîrlig and Suzana Dan, brings together more than 50 artists, journalists, illustrators and photographers in a collaborative effort that explores failure as a potential beginning. Opened first at Rezidența9 of Bucharest in December 2024, it marked the launch of Scena9 magazine’s sixth printed issue, and it later became a traveling laboratory of reflection and dialogue about how we learn from errors – whether individual, collective, or systemic.

The exhibition is open to visit until 30 November, from Monday to Sunday, between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
