BlueStreamline – Second Best in Formula Student Czech Republic

BlueStreamline, the car-racing team of Transilvania University of Brașov, achieved once again outstanding results, this time in 2026 Formula Student Czech Republic, one of the highest-level and largest-scale international competitions for the students in automotive engineering. Taking place on Polygon Most, the Czech Republic’s famous racing circuit, the competition brought together 70 teams from several universities all over the world, 15 of which competed under the Combustion category.

At the first participation in this car race, and withal at this season’s first international competition, BlueStreamline succeeded in climbing the podium five times, obtaining the title of runner-up under the Combustion category.

Our team’s results are:

  • Second place – Skid Pad;
  • Second place – Autocross;
  • Second place – Efficiency;
  • Second place – Endurance;
  • Second place – Overall standings.

This achievement attests to the excellent student training at Transilvania University of Brașov, and rewards the aspirations, efforts and hard work within the BlueStreamline project, which enables the future engineers to design, build and test single-seat race cars, and accordingly to put into practice the knowledge acquired during their academic studies.

These first results obtained in Formula Student Czech Republic are a promising start to the competitive season and strengthen the position of Transilvania University of Brașov among the higher education institutions represented in the Formula Student international competitions.
