Transilvania University of Brașov, as a partner in the UNITA Alliance, invites the relevant personnel to attend an intensive course aimed at developing the Romance language speakers’ intercomprehension skills, which will provide them with a core competence against today's backdrop of internationalization of the academic and research environment.

Designed according to a progressive and applied logic, its curriculum is structured into three units:

• Unit I – theoretical foundations of intercomprehension (2 classes with physical attendance + 5 classes of asynchronous learning);

• Unit II – strategies for reception and production of the written message (2 online classes of synchronous learning + 2 classes with physical attendance + 5 classes of asynchronous learning);

• Unit III – practices of oral communication and multilingual interaction (2 online classes of synchronous learning + 2 classes with physical attendance + 5 classes of asynchronous learning).

Duration: 2 November – 11 December 2026

Structure: 10 classes of synchronous learning (with physical attendance / online) and 15 classes of asynchronous learning (on the start.unito.it platform), designed for the purposes of flexibility and further individual study.

Upon course completion, an Online Open Badge will be awarded to the participants who will have solved all assignments and attended at least 75% of both physical and online classes.
